Privacy Choices

This page explains ways an eligible individual may exercise privacy rights regarding information for which Sunate, Inc. acts as a business or controller.
Rights vary by jurisdiction and are subject to exceptions.
1. Available requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request that Sunate:
Confirm whether we process personal information about you.
Provide access to eligible personal information.
Correct inaccurate information.
Delete eligible information.
Provide a portable copy of certain information.
Identify categories, sources, purposes, and recipients.
Opt you out of activities treated as a sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising.
Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information.
Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
Explain or appeal a decision on a previous privacy request.
Sunate will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
2. Lead and property data opt-out
Sunate may provide property, public-record, ownership, business-contact, or lead-enrichment information to business Customers.
State-law definitions differ, and an activity may be treated as a sale or sharing even when information is not used for behavioral advertising.
You may ask Sunate to stop making eligible personal information associated with you available through covered data features, subject to:
Identity verification.
Legal exceptions.
Public-record limitations.
Contractual or source restrictions.
Our ability to match the information accurately.
We may retain a limited suppression record so information is not reintroduced through routine updates.
3. How to submit a request
Email legal@sunate.app with the subject line Privacy Request and include:
Your full name.
The state or country where you reside.
The right you want to exercise.
The email address, phone number, business name, or property address reasonably necessary to locate information.
Whether the request relates to a Sunate account, a Customer workspace, or lead/property data.
Do not send government identification unless we request it through a secure method.
4. Do not sell or share
To submit an applicable opt-out request, email support@sunate.app with the subject line:
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Include enough information to locate and verify the relevant record.
Sunate does not sell or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent records for third-party marketing.
5. Customer-controlled information
If a contractor or another business entered your information into its Sunate workspace or contacted you using Sunate, that business generally controls the purpose of the processing.
Contact the business directly first.
If you identify the business and request, Sunate will assist it as required by law and contract.
6. Verification
We must reasonably verify that the requester is the person to whom the information relates or an authorized agent.
Verification may use:
Account authentication.
Email or phone confirmation.
Matching information.
Proof of authority.
Another proportionate method.
We will request only information reasonably needed for verification.
We may deny or limit a request when:
We cannot verify it.
The law does not apply.
An exception applies.
The request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Fulfilling it would adversely affect another person's rights.
We will explain a denial where required.
7. Authorized agents
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted.
We may require signed authorization and may verify the individual directly unless law provides otherwise.
8. Appeals
To appeal a decision, reply to our response with the subject Privacy Appeal and explain why the decision should be reconsidered.
9. Communication choices
SMS
Reply STOP to opt out of Sunate Copilot SMS and HELP for assistance.
A messaging opt-out is separate from account deletion or a lead-data privacy request.
Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email.
Service, security, billing, or account communications may continue where necessary.
Cookies
Use browser controls and available preference tools described in the Cookie Policy.
10. Browser opt-out signals
Where required by applicable law and technically detectable, Sunate will process a recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal.
A browser signal generally applies only to that browser and device.
