Electronic Communications and Signatures Disclosure

Electronic Communications and Signatures Disclosure

Effective Date: June 25, 2026

This disclosure applies when you choose to receive records or use signatures electronically through Sunate or an integrated electronic-signature provider.

It does not by itself enroll you in marketing email, recurring SMS, or another promotional program.

1. Electronic records

You agree that Sunate and authorized parties may provide agreements, disclosures, invoices, notices, proposals, estimates, change orders, consent records, and other business records electronically through:

  • The Services.

  • Email.

  • A secure link.

  • A connected electronic-signature provider.

  • Another electronic method you select.

An electronic record satisfies a requirement that the record be in writing to the extent permitted by law.

You should download or print records that are important to you.

2. Electronic signatures

When you click an acceptance control, type or draw a signature, use an authentication method, or otherwise adopt an electronic mark with intent to sign, you agree that the electronic signature may have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature where permitted by law.

Sunate does not determine:

  • Whether a particular document is legally sufficient.

  • Whether a signer has authority.

  • Whether notarization or witnessing is required.

  • Whether electronic signature is permitted for a particular transaction.

The parties to the document are responsible for those determinations.

3. Hardware and software

You need:

  • A device with internet access.

  • A current browser.

  • The ability to receive email or secure links.

  • Software capable of viewing PDF or other provided formats.

  • Sufficient storage to retain records.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and compatible access.

4. Paper copies

You may request a paper copy from the business that sent the document.

Fees may apply if disclosed by that business and permitted by law.

5. Withdrawal

Where law gives you a right to withdraw electronic-record consent, contact the sender or support@sunate.app.

Withdrawal applies prospectively and does not invalidate records or signatures completed before withdrawal.

A sender may need to move the transaction to a non-electronic process.

6. Updating contact information

Keep your email, phone number, and other contact information current.

A failed delivery does not necessarily invalidate a notice sent to the contact information you provided, subject to applicable law.

7. Contact

Questions may be sent to support@sunate.app.
